This design builds upon a great concept from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2185015 . Unfortunately, the original design was uneditable and lacked source files. I wanted to utilize smaller bearings 696Z since they were readily available in my stock, which would also reduce the footprint size. Be aware that this creation may not be compatible with all filament spools on the market. However, the Openscad file should be straightforward enough for anyone to comprehend (in the event of any difficulties, feel free to ask!). Instead, I have recreated it using Openscad in a parametric form. Two libraries were utilized - one being a shortcuts library and the other being the excellent spline library from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1468725 . This spool holder requires four prints, each featuring two 696Z bearings for a total of eight. The print itself is uncomplicated and should not pose any challenges. I am using standard 0.2mm profiles with either 10 or 20% infill levels.
