Spool Stand
thingiverse
An indispensable print project for enthusiasts is a small, compact spool stand that effortlessly accommodates various spool widths without requiring any adjustments. Its simple design consists of attaching one stand under each side, allowing the device to function seamlessly. The built-in spacers cleverly maintain free spinning on bearings while an additional guardrail safeguards against potential accidents by keeping the spool secure away from the edges. Instructions for a Stress-Free Build Prepare your workspace and print four of these units, allocating two for each side of the assembly process. Assemble each side carefully using a total of eight M3 screws - specifically sixteen millimeters in length, and accompanied by six hundred-eight (608) bearings with dimensions of eight by twenty-two by seven millimeters in size and length respectively, along with standard regular nuts that are M3 compatible; half height worked fine on my personal setup but complete sized options can work just as effectively.
