Spool Spinner
thingiverse
One side of the spool spinner fits in your variable speed drill. The other side fits into a spool. This one is for 100g spools. It prints without supports, with minimal waste. I recommend: 5mm brim inside and out 6 perimeters 100% infill 0.30 layer height (Draft) The roll of filament from which you are transferring can be mounted in any convenient way, including on your printer's spool stand. It might be easier to use the spool spinner if you put the drill on a table, especially if the drill can stand stably or if it can be clamped in place. You might find it easier to put the drill underneath the spool so the spool spins horizontally instead of vertically with the drill on the side. That way the weight is evenly distributed around the upper rim instead of on the flexible strips. The 100g spool is by byWulf and can be found here: https://www.printables.com/model/449027-100g-mini-spool You can see a video of the spool spinner in action here: https://youtu.be/vMvrXQKxgxs
