This setup ensures a smooth filament feed from the spool. What you'll need: 1. A 5/16 x 5" bolt (or M8) 2. Two 5/16 nuts (or M8) 3. Two 22mm bearings (skateboard style) 4. A drill with a 5/16 bit 5. Wrench or pliers Drill one hole in the metal spool holder that comes with the CR-10 printer. It's a bonus if you get it right near the edge, so the bolt doesn't twist. Insert the bolt through the hole and secure it with a nut. Place the bearings into the mags, which only fit one way. Put the mags in a spool and slide the assembly onto the bolt. Secure the last nut to the tri-knob and tighten until snug, without over-tightening. The mags have three steps for different spool inner diameters: 54.6, 53.3, and 51.6. Known brands that fit are Hatchbox, CR-10 filament, and Esun. Remix to suit your needs.
