Before printing, carefully measure your spool hanger and ensure it is 1.25in (31.75mm)OD or smaller. If your spool hanger has a different size, please post a comment and I will update the model for your version. A spool holder upgrade designed specifically for the Creality Ender3 printer. This model was created around a Hatchbox spool with a 54mm ID and the stock Ender3 spool holder with a 1.25in (31.75)OD. This design should print seamlessly without supports. The radial clearance from the rollers to the carrier is 0.3mm, requiring precise printer tuning to prevent stringing or artifacts. Manual intervention may still be necessary to break free the rollers. A keeper of some sort is necessary to secure the spool in place and prevent it from wandering off. There is ample space for a 1/8in spacer to fill the gap, and any flat material will suffice, such as a laser-cut acrylic washer.
