Spool Pin Bearing for Ender 3 v2

Spool Pin Bearing for Ender 3 v2

prusaprinters

A pin bearing addition to the stock spool rack for the Ender 3 v2. All parts are printed, no need to purchase any bearings. The design removes friction between the rack and the spool. This will fit spools with an Inner Diameter of 2 3/4" or 70mm. The design includes a clip which stops the spool from falling off the end, you will need a rubber band for this. The photos show the process for assembly. You need to build this around the stock Ender 3 spool rod, which captures the pins in place. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.16 Infill: 20% - 30% Filament: Tecbears PLA Black Notes: I only needed to use supports for the Clips.stl which were a little difficult to remove, but possible with an craft knife, and the stock Ender 3 snippers. I printed with a .6mm Nozzle, a wall thickness of 1.2mm, and grid infill of 30% for the most of the files with the exception of the rollers at 20% infill. I had issues with the pegs on the cheeks snapping on the initial designs, but have successfully assembled and disassembled this version without anything snapping.
