Having acquired new PLA material, I discovered that the spool design has changed - now narrower but with a larger outer diameter. This causes interference with my MakerBot's power and USB connectors at the back. To resolve this issue, I decided to relocate the spool. Simply print the Main Mounting Bracket (takes about 2.5 hours on low settings) and attach it to your preferred table position, perpendicular to the back. Utilize the OEM Spool Bracket to connect it to the Main Mounting Bracket. Notably, the Main Mounting Bracket is tall enough to accommodate the new spool's larger outer diameter. However, if you have any parts mounted on the original spool's outer diameter, print an extra Spacer part (takes approximately 55 minutes on low settings) to raise the spool by an additional 1/2 inch.
