If you still possess leftover 608 bearings from assembling your Prusa Mendel, utilize them for constructing a filament spool mount. No bolts are necessary; simply apply force to fit the bearings in place. Both ABS and PLA filaments work well for this project. Although 4mm holes for screws are included, they may not be required. This design accommodates a maximum spool width of 100mm; if you need another size, feel free to comment. Customization remains a challenge at the moment. Have fun!
