Spool Maracas desiccant container from TP tubes

<p><strong>UPDATE:</strong> For those who are concerned that the cardboard fiber will unbound from the tp tube, I have also designed a printable full tube cap version. downloadable from printables.&nbsp;</p><p>Been stocking up on TP during COVID and not knowing what to do with the tubes. Recycle them into desiccant containers. I design this so that we can reuse and recycle. The holes are 2x2mm squares, and watching the BambuLab X1 prints at such a high speed is a treat.&nbsp;</p><p>Instructables:</p><ol><li>Measure the height of the spool and cut,</li><li>Measure the tubes internal diameter (ID),&nbsp;</li><li>Print a pair the corresponding cap size,</li><li>Tape one side,</li><li>Fill with reusable silica gel desiccant,</li><li>Cover and tape the other side.&nbsp;</li></ol><p><strong>NOTE: </strong>These printed covers are not press fit. They need to be taped to the cardboard tubes to be secure.&nbsp;</p><p>In order to know which cap size to print, measure the internal diameter (ID) of the tube and print the corresponding ones. If the size you need is not available, just message me and I will try my best to include the diameter you need.
