A simple, functional 7-spoke filament spool hub that seamlessly adapts a 56mm hole to an 8mm rod is designed with friction holding it firmly in place. Two of these hubs are necessary for securely supporting a spool. The choice of seven spokes stems from sheer simplicity, lacking any further justification. Wrapping Teflon tape around the 10mm deep insert a single time provides an extra level of snugness if printing reveals a slightly loose fit. To ensure ease of access to customization options, the provided files contain both source code with metric measurements and a Cura file calibrated for inch-based units.
