Spool holder design includes a snap-on attachment to the Rigidbot frame. This facilitates effortless switching between filaments with special spring-like inserts. For optimal results, manufacture the spool holder with a high infill ratio setting. The front leg should be carefully filed to ensure it snaps into place smoothly. Each insert utilizes a 22x8x7mm bearing for stability. To assemble, acquire two M8 bolts or five-sixteenth-inch fasteners in lengths based on your specific offset requirements - I used two inches and two-nine-sixteenths inches for my build. Additional hardware includes nuts and four washers to secure the bearings in place. When building, don't forget to carefully file the clip attachment to snugly fit around the tubing. The Rigidbot frame features a three-quarter by three-quarter inch steel structure.
