#FilamentChallenge Features: Sturdy and Durable Printable assembly made with High-Quality Components Three Strand Guide System for Smooth Filament Flow Three Position Locking Selector Head for Easy Spool Switching Spring Loaded Anti-Reverse Spooling Mechanism for Reduced Snags Built-In Flush Cut Razor for Precise Spool Cutting Requires: ¾” PVC Pipe, approximately 1 foot long, for the 3-Spool Holder ½” PVC Pipe, approximately 2 feet long, for the 3-Spool Holder Gel Super Glue for Robust Assembly One Small Spring (0.49 inches long x 0.162 inches OD) Printed Parts This is a sturdy multi-part spool holder that assembles using three PVC sections, some super glue, and a set of printed parts along with one small spring. It’s designed to hold three spools at once so all filament strands can be run through the selector head. The selector head rests on top of a multi-part arm and base and has a built-in spring-loaded anti-reverse spooling mechanism. This mechanism uses the force of the spring to add resistance to the filament strands, requiring a bit more pull from your stepper motor but preventing snags. Once the filament goes through this section, all but one strand is stopped by the selector head with its built-in razor. When you want a new spool, simply push the old one back while holding the spring-loaded button until it's only sticking out as much as you want to cut off. Then turn the head to the right until it clicks into a new position and cuts off the old head. Finally, push the new filament through and run it into your printer.
