I needed a custom spool holder, so I built my own using readily available parts. Two 608ZZ bearings ensure that it operates smoothly and quietly. The spool holder attaches directly to the existing metal frame and secures itself with the original plastic screw, making installation a breeze. To create this spool holder, you'll need to print three separate components: the main holder, two axle rods for the bearings, and a few other small parts. Since I use smaller spools, my custom spool holder can accommodate widths of up to 80mm.
