Spool Holder: 2 Main Parts: The Screw and The Nut The spool holder consists of two main parts: the screw and the nut. + 2 Bolts (or Files with a Hole Through the Complete Part for Use with an M8 Screw) These bolts are used to secure the spool in place. They can be replaced with files that have a hole through them, making it easier to use an M8 screw. The Screw Comes in Different Types and Lengths The screw is available in various types and lengths: - 70mm length - 100mm length - 70mm length with complete hole - 100mm length with complete hole - 70mm length without cutouts and complete hole - 100mm length without cutouts and complete hole Bolts for the Right and Left Side, and Bolts with a Border Additional bolts are available for securing the spool on both sides. Some of these bolts have a border to provide extra support. For My Spools, I Use the 70mm One The 70mm screw is my preferred choice for holding my spools in place. If You Need a Bigger Diameter, Let Me Know and I'll Make Them for You If you require a larger diameter than what's included, please let me know and I'll create custom designs to fit your needs. However, all of my filament spools should fit onto the holder without any issues. Updates: Update 1 - June 12, 2018 I've added two more bolts with a border but with a flat surface for printing while lying on its back. Update 2 I've added two new designs for the short version with bolts. If you're interested in the design for the screw, please let me know. You can also request to have your name printed on the parts. All Pictures Are Directly from the Print The images provided are taken directly after or during printing without any modifications. Layer height 0.2mm is used for blue v1 and layer height 0.1mm is used for white v3. Printed Without Supports These designs can be printed without supports, which means no support material is required during the printing process. Some parts may need to be rotated, but no support is needed. Update 3 I've added new versions of the spool holder with M8 holes going through and normal bolts for the 70mm and 100mm lengths. Update 4 I've created a universal stand that can hold both regular and screw versions of the spool holder. This allows you to lay down your spools on top of a box or any other surface without needing to print new holders. Update 5 I've added flat versions of the universal stand with only 3mm height, but pay attention to the pin in the middle as it doesn't like side force. Update 6 (June 25, 2018) I've added two more designs: v4 and v5. These can be printed without supports if your printer is well-calibrated and you use a suitable layer height. I personally printed mine with only 0.1mm layer height at 60mm/s speed. Try the open thread design! It's an open spiral that screws together beautifully. Try it out and feel its quality. Update 7 (July 2, 2018) I've added one more pair of spools with a clean design featuring an 80mm hole diameter. I also created custom stands to place on top of my box instead of the universal stand holders. It's now even more versatile! Have fun using it and keep checking for updates.
