I whipped up this quick part to keep my spool safely above the printer at all times.\r\n\r\nIt should work seamlessly with any spool holder that utilizes standard 5/16" lead screws.\r\n\r\nRight now, I'm employing Brian Spackman's incredibly versatile Quick Change Universal Spool Holder - it performs flawlessly.\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1241566\r\n\r\nTo assemble this setup, you'll need two 150mm lengths of 5/16" lead screw, four to six nuts, and the necessary hardware or wire for a sturdy suspension system.
