The holder on an Ender 5 can easily hold a 1kg (2.2lbs) filament spool, no problem at all. A 2.3kg filament spool is way too heavy and much too wide for this setup. This versatile holder manages both sizes with ease. To put it together, you'll need: 1 x cylinder 1 x base 2 x side There are carefully placed holes in the base to match up perfectly with the pegs at the bottom of each side. Each piece has a strong lattice infill for added durability. The ends of the cylinder are sealed shut to prevent curious little hands from getting into trouble. I used a special type of glue, "super glue", to secure the sides firmly to the base.
