I ran my first design and print with generic settings from Cura, keeping things simple for a beginner's experience. The results were spot on for the sides, but I noticed some stringing issues with the cylinder cross member at the bottom. Clearly, I need to dig deeper into slicing settings and experiment with different options. When designing the feet holes, I made sure they'd fit snugly around a 1/4 inch thread. I cut threads that were exactly 114mm long and added a notch at each end to make it easier to use a flat head screwdriver for assembly. The sides held up remarkably well, even when the cross member wasn't providing support from underneath.
