I'm fed up with having to wrestle and loosen three bolts every time I need to swap out my filament rolls. It's a tedious process, but it gets the job done somehow. The real hassle is printing the threads in high resolution - it takes forever! That's why I decided to create a simple snap-fit spool holder rack for standard filament rolls. This nifty rack also accommodates the wider cardboard spools from daily (up to 9cm wide). To print this clever contraption, you'll need to print the rack twice and the rod three times. Most slicers allow you to multiply the rod, so feel free to print all the rods at once if you like. CAUTION: This rack won't work with those tiny filament spools that have holes smaller than 3.2cm in diameter.
