Spool holder for RigidBot utilizes a dozen 5/16" ball bearings (or slingshot ammo) to provide stability. Attach the lower screw prior to attaching the spool holder for optimal performance. Ensure that you test the strength of your print before utilizing it, as a tangled spool may get pulled off and drop on the printer if it is not strong enough. Two versions are available: a thinner one designed to fit small Taulman spools and a thicker one offering increased strength. I use both types on my printer for added security. This spool holder can be used in conjunction with a filament guide to achieve consistent unspooling of the filament.
