Simple Spool Holder for Rubbermaid Fast Track Shelving Units Made Easy. I modified an existing model to create a spool holder that can be mounted directly onto vertical brackets from the popular Rubbermaid Fast Track wire shelving units. My design was inspired by my own experience of mounting several Ender 2 spool holders, and I'm excited to share it with you. To get started, simply print two copies of each item using your preferred settings. Next, attach the holder bracket by threading two 8-inch zip ties through both the printed part and the vertical shelf rails. Once secured, screw in the spool and then add a nut to retain the filament. This design accommodates any standard 1kg filament spool with a small diameter. Please note that the spool has some non-manifold edges, which may cause issues during slicing, such as filling parts of the interior tubing. However, rest assured that this won't affect the performance or finished product in any way. I printed all the components at .28 layers, PLA material, and a speed of 30mm/s on my trusty Ender 2 3D printer.
