Spool Holder

Spool Holder

I've modified the Mathers3000 design to sit atop the Davinci 1.0. I appreciate its design and especially the threaded attachment feature. However, I prefer having the ability to open the cover, so I'll attach mine to the front of the printer for easy access. To secure it in place, I plan to use strong velcro for a semi-attached connection. When printing this spool holder, I intend to use 30% infill and light supports. In my previous experience with the Mathers3000 model, however, it didn't require any supports and still turned out well. You'll need to print two of these parts. The design is intended to fit on the bed of the Davinci 1.0. I plan to test-print one tonight to verify everything looks good. Update: After test printing, I noticed that Tinkercad altered my design in some way. To resolve this issue, I've replaced the file with an updated version that should prevent any problems. Specifically, the angle support blocks were raised towards the bottom of the print, causing a small amount of unnecessary supports.
