Spool Holder
thingiverse
Originally an MKS Gen 1.4 design, I've modified it to simply sit on top of the RepRap Core X5.\nHis design is great and I love the threaded attachment however I like the ability to remove the cover. With mine, I can place it on the front portion of the printer and have access to the lid.\nI will use strong magnets to semi-attach it to the printer.\nI will likely print it at 30% infill using minimal supports; however when I printed the MKS Gen 1.4 model it did not require supports and performed well.\nYou will obviously need to print 2 of these.\nI also designed it to fit on the bed of the RepRap Core X5\n11-15-17 Going to test print one tonight to see if everything looks good\n11-15-17 (evening) Test Print looked okay but Slic3r did something to it and I have replaced file with a better design. For some reason the angle support blocks were raised towards the top of print causing unnecessary supports. This updated files should resolve this.\n11-16-17, Picture of printed spool holder was from original design. Just wanted to post up a pic to allow others to see it in real time.
