This is a streamlined rendition of the spool holder devised by Brian. Two versions exist: one for standard 1 kg spools and another for larger spools. Print this design with at least three perimeters and 50% infill to achieve optimal strength. Consider drilling the filament passage hole using a 4 mm drill bit and inserting a teflon tube through it. It's advisable to lengthen the tube and shape it to guide the filament from within the spool's sides, thereby preventing issues with tangled filaments and full spools. A small clamp can also be employed to keep the spool in close proximity to the printer's back (particularly useful if a teflon tube is not used). However, avoid making the clamp too rigid, as it may break when inserted into the guides provided in the axle.
