WORK IN PROGRESS I'm on track to finalize this project within the next few days, and once it's complete, you'll have access to more photos that showcase its features. As soon as everything falls into place, I'll remove the WIP status. This innovative design is a spool holder specifically tailored for mounting on the end of Open Builds' 80mm x 20mm linear V-rail. Its purpose is to provide a smooth and efficient way to manage filament rolls. To assemble this spool holder, start by using 1" PVC pipe that slides over 3/4" dowel. This clever design allows for seamless rotation as the extruder requires more filament. You'll need to print one main body and two side towers. The towers feature a dove-tailed joint that ensures they fit snugly inside the main body. You have the option to glue them in place or leave room for additional towers, allowing for versatility in accommodating different spool sizes.
