I usually buy the cheapest filament I can find on eBay, which I call No Name (unbranded) filament. I've encountered several spools of this filament with crossed-over lines of filament that prevent the extruder from pulling the filament off the spool. These crossed-over lines can appear in various places throughout the length of the filament. Although I don't know how the manufacturer manages to do this (and it only occurs on a few spools), rewinding the filament is necessary so you don't need to constantly monitor the printer. I designed the filament spool holders and nuts for rewinding. Files are also included for the motor drive pulley that fits a 5/16" motor shaft.
