This spool holder attaches easily to inexpensive rack shelving commonly found everywhere, slipping over the outermost edge and secured by one M3 screw inserted through a convenient hole to keep the spool firmly in place. Note that attaching multiple heavy spools to the top can cause the shelving to tip over if not anchored securely to a wall or otherwise weighted down with extra mass at the bottom.
