Spool holder for MMU2

<p>The spool holders provided with the MMU2 often produce tangles and always introduce a lot of resistance into the filament feed. This filament holder uses a short piece of PTFE tube to avoid loose filament tangling around the spool and uses the axles that come with the MMU2 to make unspooling easy.</p> <p>When placed above the printer, the split between the MMU2 PTFE tube and the one in the spool holder reliably absorbs the extra filament fed back during unloading.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Category: 3D Printer Accessories Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong> Prusa</p> <p><strong>Printer:</strong> i3 MK3 MMU 2</p> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong> No</p> <p><strong>Supports:</strong> No</p> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong> 0.2 mm</p> <p><strong>Infill:</strong> 10%</p> <h3><strong>Filament:</strong> Generic PETG or PLA any Post-Printing</h3> <p>I used a drill bit to fettle out the hole for the PTFE tube, then inserted a piece of PTFE tube about 3 cm long. There's a hole for an M3 set screw to hold the PTFE tube in place but I haven't needed it yet - the PTFE tube is a tight enough fit already.</p> <p>Some rubber feet on the bottom might keep the spool holder from wandering around.</p>
