This holder, printable in one or two parts (holder.stl and holder_mirrored.stl), attaches to a Mendel90 printer via six M4 x 20mm screws and nuts or by tapping the sheets for M4 x 12mm fasteners (tapping acrylic may vary in success). A 380mm long M8 steel or threaded rod secures spools. On a Mendel90 with a 6mm acrylic build, it can hold two 2.3kg, 300mm diameter spools without issue. Designing spool center pieces with 608 bearings is possible but may be time-consuming for new spool fitting. The design also requires the PSU to mount using washers as spacers.
