Spool Holder for Lack Enclosure

Spool Holder for Lack Enclosure

This is a spool holder I created for use with the IKEA Lack Enclosure: https://www.prusaprinters.org/cheap-simple-3d-printer-enclosure/ I needed a design that would allow me to swap out spools quickly and easily, without having to fiddle with rails. I recommend printing this with 50% infill and lying it on its side so the "arm" is aligned with the Z-axis. Although this print orientation isn't ideal for strength, it should be sufficient to hold up 1 kg spools. I printed three perimeters, but you could increase this (and infill %) if you're concerned about part durability. You can use two #12-3/4" (or 6x20mm) screws to secure this onto the top of the Lack table. You may need to drill holes (7/32" or 5.5 mm) to fit the screws, depending on your printer's tolerances.
