Spool holder for LACK enclosure
thingiverse
I had to come up with a solution after multiple spools stacked up on my desk, so I decided to repurpose the corner next to my LACK enclosure and create this spool holder that attaches to the side of my enclosure and holds six spools. My wooden-sided enclosure has the perfect surface to mount these holders to, using M3 brass inserts in pre-drilled holes. The entire assembly is held together with M3 screws inserted from the inside. The 25mm-diameter wooden stick snaps into place very securely, providing a solid base for the holder. I also cut off a section of the printed part containing the screw holes and created a small drilling template to save myself the hassle of measuring out the holes.
