This spool holder is specifically designed for use with IKEA cabinets. The 3mm pin will securely fit into the corresponding 3mm holes found on IKEA shelves for added support. To accommodate users who do not hang the spool, an additional IKEA shelf support has been included on the side of the holder. For hanging purposes, a wooden rod measuring 8mm in diameter is used, but rods up to 10mm in diameter can also be employed.
