Spool Holder for Filament Shelf (Daryl L's Prints)

This is my entry into the 3D Printing Nerd's Spool Holder contest, I'm thrilled to share it with you. My design is meant to be placed anywhere on the shelf and can fit snugly between two supports or brackets for added stability. This two-part design features slots in the spool holder piece that securely slide into the holder base, providing a rock-solid hold. For extra peace of mind, I've also added a gap in the parts that grip the wood to fit around shelf brackets, which is not required but adds an extra layer of security. Multiple bases can be printed and placed all around the shelf, allowing for a single spool holder piece to be moved as needed. There's even a dip between the two pieces that go around the wood, so a full 1kg spool can sit comfortably on the shelf without being disturbed. Supports are built into the base, which means it can be printed in the orientation of the file provided, giving it maximum strength and stability. With this design, no additional supports are required – unless you want to add an extra layer of security, in which case I can provide a base without built-in supports. The spool holder has been tested at multiple layer heights, including .3236 (the golden ratio for my Tevo Little Monster), .1618 (TLM), and .2 (on my Duplicator i3). I had an absolute blast designing this – it's been a fun project that's taught me a lot about creating parts. While I'm aware it's a long shot to win, I've learned so much from the process and hope someone finds value in this design.
