Spool holder for different spools. 2020 and wall mount.
thingiverse
I made a spool holder for my DIY 3D printer. It can hold any type of filament spools. The short size of the axis is useful for spools that weigh one kilogram or half a kilogram. The long size is useful for spools that weigh up to two and a half kilograms. Parts needed: M8 rod, (220mm. or 180mm.) - one piece 608 bearing - three pieces M8 washer - two pieces M8 nut - four pieces You must print two screw axes and two locks. The other parts can be printed in single instances. Assembly: Press two bearings into each end of the screw axis. Then, press one bearing between the two screw axes so that it is half in each. Combine the threads and glue the parts together (I use methylene chloride). Install the M8 rod into the holder and screw on two nuts. Install the screw axes onto the M8 rod with washers on both sides and screw on a nut at the end. Screw the locks into place at the beginning and end of the screw axis. Install an M8 nut into the screw end and screw it onto the M8 rod. Glue the cap in place at the end. SolidWorks sources are included.
