This spool holder is designed specifically for C/D-bot printers to mount the spool on top of the printer behind the extruder for direct drive extruders. The design allows for both single and multiple spools configurations. Printed Parts: 1x Left Frame 1x Right Frame 2 x Bearing spacers per spool 2 x Holder retainers per spool (two sizes: 26-38mm and 50-64mm) Extra parts required: 4x M8 Nuts (plus two extra per additional spool) 130mm M8 threaded rod (or 320mm for two spools, any length is acceptable) 2 x 608ZZ bearings per spool 4x M5 t-nuts to mount on the 2040 T or V rail 4x M5x10 socket head bolts to mount on the 2040 T or V rail If you need this printed out, try contacting Geoffs-3D-Printing through 3dhubs.com for a great service. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: CD-Bot Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 20% and 80% Notes: The design is intended to be printed in ABS, with helper disks that should snap free easily. Print the frame at high infill (80%+), retainers at low infill (20-30%) with three perimeters. Supports are required for the M5 holes in the frame parts but not necessary for the retainers or bearing spacers.
