Spool Holder for ANET A8 (Storage box bracket)
thingiverse
I wanted to create a convenient setup for my Anet A8 printer by mounting several spools of filament above it, and I found inspiration in other designs. The bracket performed flawlessly, allowing me to use a wooden rod as its main shaft. I also picked up some roller skate bearings from eBay at the lowest price possible, knowing that cheap ones would suffice. To prevent the spools from moving around excessively, I designed and created bearing covers. After several weeks had passed, I discovered that the filament I was using absorbed moisture, rendering it unusable for printing. To resolve this issue, I dried it out in an oven for one hour before purchasing a plastic box and some silicone gel to keep it dry. The spool bracket now serves as a holder for the box, as shown in the attached photo. If you don't experience the same moisture-related problems that I did, the bracket should work perfectly.
