A custom spool holder mounts neatly on 2020 extrusion. Countless versions exist on Thingiverse, nearly all using 8mm rod and 608ZZ bearings. I opted for a design centered around 5mm rod and MR105ZZ bearings, which happened to be readily available. Print the bracket and two cones. The included spacer accommodates spools too close to the printer frame. As needed, print multiple clips: one secures inner cables while another, visible in images, holds the outside in place. Print Settings Printer: Eclips3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 50% Notes: Brim may be necessary to print the clip successfully.
