This spool holder is specifically designed to mount onto a 1x2 shelf. Twelve 3mm magnets are glued in place to secure the mechanism, while a 3mm by 20 pin serves as a hinge. A half-inch PVC pipe is used for the axle, offering durability and smoothness at an affordable price. Supports are necessary during printing, and PETG filament is recommended; however, PLA or PLA Pro could also be suitable alternatives. The infill level required depends on the chosen pattern, with 15% to 20% being a reasonable range.
