Spool Holder/ Feeder Arm

Spool Holder/Feeder Arm Assembly. You'll need 2 handwheel parts, 1 Spool Holder Back part, and 1 Spool Holder Front Part to get started. Don't forget a M8 x 50 nut and bolt for the bottom tension handwheel, as well as a M8x100 bolt through the center. For optimal performance, consider using a M10 spring for tension in the recess between the back assembly and front part. This will allow you to adjust the tension between the two parts, creating a moderate braking force that prevents the spool from running away. The hex between the front and back assemblies is designed to position the feeder arm smoothly, redirecting it without risk of filament coming off the spool. Adding support to the back assembly is particularly beneficial. Applying epoxy or CA glue to secure nuts and bolts in their respective hexes will ensure they stay in place as needed.
