Spool holder "Elephant" for MK3S(+)

“Elephant” spool holder on top of the frame of a MK3S(+)It is a remix of the "Spool holder with bearings (on frame MK3S)" design. Like the origin version it provides almost vibration free feeding of the filament to the extruder due to the perfect concentricity of the spools on the bearings. The main objective in the design of the version "Elephant" was maximum stability and reliability with simultaneous adjustability. This is achieved with the thread dimensioning 14 mm and the inclusion of the Prusa frame in a self-supporting structure.“Elephant” offers adjustment for different spool widths from 60 to 100 mm by means of threaded rod. You can change the distance between the left and right support arms simply by turning a knob. The holder can remain mounted on the printer as the arms slide along the frame to the desired position. The knob can be mounted either on the left or right side - just as you like it or each on the outer sides respectively, if you want to use two holders side by side at the same time.For a complete holder print the both base frame parts twice. All parts can be printed in the given orientation like shown on the picture above or as layouted in the STL files. No supports or brims are needed. I prefer Prusa PETG with 0.2 layer and recommend 15% infill for the base frame + cup.
