Spool Holder Base for Lock&Lock HSM947 Salad Bowl

<p>This salad bowl can contain a standard 1kg filament spool perfectly. I just needed a fitting base, because the bottom is not flat. The other parts from amoose136 (center piece, top part) fit to the base. I needed to add a solid infill in PrusaSlicer with the height range modifier function, otherwise parts of the top layer would have been printed in mid-air.</p></div> Custom Section</h3> <p><strong>How To Assemble</strong></p> <p><div><p>The spool holder is easy, just stick everything together, perhaps add a bit of glue to secure the bearings and screws. I've separated the center pin from the original design, since the bottom of my base is not flat anymore. Use an M3 screw to secure.</p> The flange is more tricky. Please don't hurt yourself then you drill the holes into the bowl, print an extra flange piece as a drilling guide. Also use that extra piece to pull in the nuts: Assemble both parts in correct orientation without the bowl in between. Stick a longer screw through both holes and place a nut. Now tighten the screw and guide the nut into its seat. Remove the long screw again and use an M3x30 for the long side and a M3x12 for the short side to attach to the bowl.</div></p> </p></p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
