Hey guys! I'm excited to show you an spool holder I designed that attaches to holding bars, making it easy for the spool to move smoothly when the extruder pushes the filament with minimal friction. The bar I used is a sturdy aluminum one with a 16mm diameter. I chose bearings from common ABEC quality to ensure smooth movement in my holder, and on both sides, I added two pieces of steel bars with a 6mm diameter to reduce friction against plastic. This design makes it easy to print and extends the life of your extruder since you won't need to push harder to move the filament.
