Spool Holder for the Artillery Sidewinder X1 and Genius. I was not satisfied with the Standard Spool Holder, so I decided to create something better. The rumbling turn-around made an uneven surface on every print, which wasn't acceptable. A first change to let the spool turn in the hole of the spool also didn't work out fine and quiet. With this holder on a separate axis, the spool runs quietly and smoothly. The screws are a light remix of: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1241566 . I found that ball bearings aren't necessary. I made the screws with three holes, so you can use rods in different sizes: 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm. It's not essential for the rod to be made of metal; wooden rods will also work. The holder for the Sidewinder X1 may fit on every 20mm aluminum profile, while the holder for the Genius is designed to fit snugly on the plastic cover at the top. Both designs come with a built-in holder for the filament runout sensor.
