UPDATE 10/22/2019: Following a user's request, I have added Base105 and Slider105 as STLs to accommodate spool widths from 85mm up to 105mm. UPDATE 4/26/19: Based on a suggestion, the base is now 4 mm wider to accommodate larger spools. UPDATE: A redesigned Side name Side608 has been added, utilizing a standard "608" skateboard bearing; STEP, SLDPRT and STL files are included. Inspiration credit goes to filamentry, the original TUSH creator. I wanted a spool holder that was a TUSH but easily adjustable, one-piece/portable, and stable. I think I've achieved it. Firstly, the bearings used are not 608 "skateboard bearings." They were purchased from my local ACE hardware and labeled as .748in OD, .2362in ID, and .2362in W, making them slightly smaller than 608's. However, they work perfectly for me. The STEP and SLDPRT files are included so users can make changes as desired. The base holds the two Sliders, which move in and out on a rack and pinion between the Sliders and the Knob. The Sliders are retained by the Knob, held to the base with one M3 x 8mm button-head screw through the Retainer and Base into the Knob. If users would be so kind, please share their makes. Thank you!
