I had issues with 1 kg filament spools and the standard spool holder of the Anet ET4, as the extruder sometimes didn't have enough strength to overcome the inertia of the spool, which didn't have its center aligned with the axis of rotation of the spool holder due to the inner diameter of the spool being much larger than that of the spool holder's axis. To solve this, I designed this very simple piece, of which I printed one for each side of the spool, fitting perfectly between the nuts of the axis, so it doesn't need anything else to fix it and prevent it from slipping off the spool. ATTENTION: It is very important that the distance between the spool and the nuts is not too large, as in that case there is a risk that the pieces could come off the spool. In that case, I recommend scaling the piece along the Z-axis for a greater insertion depth in the spool. NOTE: The model is designed for the Anet ET4 spool holder, but it can probably be used for other similar design spool holders like those of the Ender 3.Inner diameter (spool holder axis): 21 mmInner diameter of the spool: 50 mm My idea is to evolve the model into something that adapts to all types of spools and axes, but without losing simplicity.
