The spool holder is designed to fit perfectly onto the printer frame, just like the original one. By lowering its center of gravity and shortening its pivot point, it significantly reduces vibrations and oscillations. This design change also brings down the overall height of the printer. To assemble this new holder, you will need four 8x16x5mm ball bearings and four M3 screws. Alternatively, a ball bearing with an outer diameter between 14 and 18mm should work well too. For added strength, it is recommended to use an infill of more than 30%.
