This spool holder was originally created for use with Tom's Dolly I3. Its design allows it to fit perfectly atop a frame that is 0.75 inches thick, equivalent to 18 millimeters. We would like to extend our gratitude to dot_bob for providing the initial inspiration. A second version of this spool holder has been developed specifically to accommodate frames that are 0.5 inches in thickness, or approximately 12 millimeters.
