This spool holder utilizes standard 608 bearings to turn the filament spool efficiently on an 8mm rod or a threaded rod, as my printer is situated under the PC desk and all filaments are stored in one compartment. I needed to get the filament moving somehow, so I drilled a hole 8mm and inserted an old 8mm smooth rod, which I then mounted through it. However, the filament spools didn't turn smoothly, so I designed this spool holder because none like it can be found on Thingiverse. Printed at 0.2mm layers to ensure that bridging is done nicely in just one layer; if you're unsure what bridging entails, please refer to the photos for clarification.
