Spool Holder (28mm Bearing)
thingiverse
This is a spool holder that uses two 28mm OD x 12mm ID x 8mm thick bearings. It fits through the hole on the metal plate that the original holder came attached on on my ender 3 pro, but I assume it will work with other printers as well. This works great, and the spool can spin freely. I printed the housing flat, and had no trouble with the threads. My printer is completely stock, and the threads work great. The nut does need a little clean-up, but I will fix this soon. The pegs I also printed flat and I had to tap them into the roller with a hammer. The roller I printed upright. All of this is with mostly standard settings, although I would recommend using a higher number of walls as well as infill for the housing as it supports all the weight. It should be printable with minimal bridging and support. Future Updates: - Will add another holder that fits standard skateboard bearings
