I got the problem twice now that a spool of filament came loose in the middle and the two halves weren't locked together anymore. To fix this and still be able to use the filament properly without rewinding it, I used this tool to stabilize the spool halves. This tool requires 4 M3 screws and fitting nuts to secure everything in place.
