To resolve my issue with filament slipping, I designed clip-on spool extenders for OrbiTech spools. These attach to the existing holes and prevent curling around the holder. The OpenSCAD script is included but not fully parametric, as it depends on spool hole measurements. If you have such info, I can adapt the script. Just print two left and right extenders (or a full plate), clip them on your spools, and enjoy! Best results with layers of 0.5 and 1.3 width_over_thickness.
